Going Fishing and messing about in boats

Walked to Brixham today, after coffee at the Venus Cafe. The town was full of sailors, crabbers, drinkers, swimmers, sunbathers, people fishing,  blippers, and  retired northerners with nothing better to do. We saw someone we knew who we thought had disappeared on a trip to Peru, so that was a result. Also two more conventional friends. It was the Brixham Heritage sailing festival but my extra is just an old Brixham trawler, as there were so many boats. Bird of the Day was a majestic heron flying over Churston Library where we parked. Apparently if it had landed on the library it would have brought it good luck. We caught the bus back to our car, rather than walking as the heat had sapped our energy. I discovered a crack in the windscreen I ‘d not seen before. Where was that lucky heron?
