Schreiners Iris Festival!

Our Dil alerted us to this delightful Iris farm festival doing in near Salem Oregon just south of Portland. So Big R and blipper comments only, our dils’s mom, and I left in the morning for a few wonderful hours strolling around the rows and rows of colorful bearded irises and also lupines and columbines and much much more. Fascinating flowering trees and even some artisans crafts and a coyote food trucks.
What a great day and escape !
We came home with a couple in pots and a catalogue to order some more. Lots of weeding and unpacking them continued as well as sitting out on the deck admiring our new garden outback!
