Pink Lady's Slipper

We have a little colony of eight lady's slippers on the edge of the garden at home this year. We've always have them all over for as long as I can remember, even though they are an endangered species, or rather a "vulnerable" species in New York. I found a little information on the flower here. It's the first time I've tried any macro on the new camera, and I'm pretty pleased with how it performed. All I did to this photo was saturate the colors a teensy bit.
