Ride London-Essex

Today was the day that our main roads were closed so that Ride London-Essex could take place.  Apparently we  welcomed 25,000 riders in the Essex villages although there was little for us to see when we walked through the forest to the nearest high road.  In fact the End of Ride car went by early.
The empty roads did mean that we could easily cross the road for a refreshing drink at the local pub and Violet did enjoy her walk past the local cricket pitch and through a bit of Epping Forest.  In fact we left with Violet and returned with Ruby Roundhouse!  Check the link if you don't know who she is and do look at my Extra photos!
