Afales Bay

Mid morning we had a walk from our villa to Afales Bay (Ithaca, Greece) which our room overlooks. The walk was through footpaths and forestry to an little cove of which we were alone except for a couple of gulls that were on a large outcrop rocks protective of their nest.

The blipfoto of Afales Bay was taken before we set off on our walk. The Bay is well known by the locals for where Prince Charles and Princess Diana stopped off on their honeymoon, August 19which is recorded here

We got back mid afternoon for a couple of hours around the pool and will eat in again tonight. A tough first day here!
