Mono Monday : Challenge

As my username says, I love to watch bees. These allium flowers at a local historic park should have been buzzing with all types of bees today, but I only saw a couple of solitary bees, and not a single on of my favourite bumblebees.
Finding bees to photograph seems to be more of a challenge every year, numbers really seem to be declining alarmingly.
Incidentally, if you’re interested in bees and you’re on facebook, I’m one of the admins on the private group, Bumblebee and Solitary Bee Conservation Enthusiasts. Worth joining if you’d like to see some proper photos of bees :-)
