Sneeze light ashes

ReRailed 2023, day 13.

The train journey from Hamburg to Århus went like clockwork.

Århus is a quite well known place for The Vogt, and seeing the town hall again was a joy. On one of the walls is a relief of the Danish astronomer Ole Rømer (1644-1710) made by Olaf Stæhr-Nielsen in 1965. In 1676 Rømer made the first measurement of the speed of light. Rømer also invented the modern thermometer showing the temperature between two fixed points, namely the points at which water respectively boils and freezes. The extra is from a restaurant near the town hall. On the plate is fried plaice, a traditional fish dish in Denmark. (https://raadhuus-kafeen.dk/evening-menu/)
