Flowering onion

Dan has some onions that overwintered. They have already gone to seed. I think they look really beautiful. It makes me impatient for my alliums to bloom.
This has been a really nice 3 day weekend. The weather has been great. I was finally able to plant out my zinnias and get my sweet corn seeded. I still have beans and beets to go but that will have to wait for next weekend. I also had some time to sit in the tea house and finish a book.
I am so looking forward to summer break, 12 & a 1/2 days to go :-)
