Garden painting

A lovely morning - blue skies and sunshine - when I got up with Bailey for his breakfast but overcast and considerably cooler by the time we got up properly. The garden bench has needed oiling since the covers came off a few weeks ago but either the weather hasn't been fit or I haven't been bothered at a weekend to get it done. We moved it down off the patio onto the grass and two pairs of hands made fairly light work. The sun put in an appearance a little before lunchtime so there has been some sitting out in the garden and reading. And a trip into town to the favourite shop, ostensibly for Mum but I made a purchase too. Back to paint my lighthouse which is nearly three years old and needed three coats of paint but it is definitely looking better as a result. Bailey operated in his usual supervisory role.
