Early Bird

Great day. 

This morning, gardening and photographing a confident baby blackbird. Mum and dad were busily feeding two fledglings, but this one was happily scoffing the mealworms I had scattered earlier. A beauty but I hope it stays safe from all the dangers...

This afternoon, a walk up Callow Hill to visit Flounders Folly. (extra)  Open day, and I challenged my fear of heights by climbing up the narrow stairs and enjoy the wide views of Hope Vale, West Hope and the Stretton Hills.

Back home, more gardening, tea and cake and a nice evening meal. 

I like being retired...
