On the Fungle

The Fungle is an old drove connecting Tarfside and Deeside. Taking advantage of some lovely weather Sandy and I walked up the Fungle from Aboyne then across to Carnferg - a hill notable for a pyramidal monument and great views. The return walk was through the beautiful Birse woodland. About 9 miles in all - I think we were more tired than Brodie. We refuelled at the Boat Inn before the drive home. A lovely area.
