Under Repair

Diesel locomotive "Powfoot No.1" failed at the weekend with a gearbox problem. This was traced by the engineering team to the dog leg drive for the oil pump with lubricates the final gear box drive. A shaft key had come out from the drive so this was refixed and once all the parts were reassembled the locomotive was tested and all was okay.
