Hidden identity

What appears to be the rather grand baronial North Lodge of Castle Grant actually conceals a private rail halt. It was built by the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway Company in 1863 in  gratitude for the Earl having granted permission for the railway to cross his estate.

The railway line closed in 1965 and the line is now part of the Dava Way.
