lilacs…

…in shades

of purple

are blooming around - the neighborhood on - various bushes and if - you look carefully - you might even - find them in - shades of pink and - white as well - which i had - the other day - but i forgot - the path i took - and couldn’t retrace - my steps so - as hard as i tried - i couldn’t find - those pink ones - for the life - of me

so at least for now - purple it is - which is fine - because just as - pink does, purple - also leads to…
