Re-hydrated

We took a slice of watermelon, wrapped in napkin, from our meal out last night.

By this morning, it was a sad anaemic pale pink, and dry. 10 minutes in a bowl of water has perked it up no end.

OK, this is the first, and probably most controversial of the clips I have extracted from C's Dad's monologue. Apologies in advance if anyone is offended.
