Parenthood is a responsibility many take seriously. Some run from it, hide from it or completely deny it. Others accept it, love it, embrace it and try their darnedest.

It's not easy. It shows you how selfish you are. And we are selfish beings. Some of us more than others. But now that this little person(s) are in the world, all bets are off. Even if your marriage has trouble, is your satisfaction and happiness more important than a child's? Well, I'm sure we could debate a smattering of scenarios regarding that. Still, it's a battle. But perhaps the greatest battle, or the most important, that we should face.
