The sun shone

The sun shone as we celebrated our neighbour Barbara McNaughton’s life at Kilmodan Kirk today and then as a community stood with her family as she was laid to rest in Kilmodan Cemetery .

There were as many people listening to the service outside as were in the packed church and all accompanied the coffin to the family grave,

This is also the place where , now that I have purchased a lair , I will myself come to rest at some stage .
