Notes: Weird day - felt a bit out of it most of the day. Was up till after midnight but woke 645a and couldn't go back to sleep. Quite tired all morning, did a few things around the house, confirmed w/ Joe about roof scan tonight even tho I was seeing afternoon and evening showers, early to pool and short time there. Had turned the water heater back on overnight tho shower felt almost too warm even on low setting - no happy medium right now but will keep it on for a bit and decide later. Read some but feeling sleepy so laid down in bed and got about 2 hrs dozing. Update from Joe that forecast had changed and scan was off again. Didn't eat until 230p, warm inside but then heard rumbling and sure enough, nice storms and rain came in, some thunder and a few big bolts of lightning, temps cooled way down even by 4p - so lovely! Phone from Mease Hospital just before 3p - was Al himself calling. They were close to leaving for his transport to the rehab facility in Spring HIll - he sounded more resigned, if not a little down today. More like accepting while trying to show he doesn't care; he did verify there had been another stroke yesterday but wasn't a bad one. Has to be a grim future and would be hard to accept with joy for sure. Jumped on Zoom w/ Jo around 420p to 530p. Watched some streaming shows - tired early.
