Last May Day

A simple but useful and enjoyable day. Really rather hot and sunny, summer mode in play.  Rufus and I went for a long walk this morning around the olive trees, fields and lanes leading down to, but not as far as, the sea. Gece the garden woofer came too, as she always does, leading the way and running back to see why we are so slow! (extra).

Cuppa on their balcony with Arife, Beth and Aziz after which Aziz drove me to the vet in Akbuk with one of our garden cats - Syrius - for treatment and neutering. Jessica's one surviving son from '21 and one of the last cats to be done. For male cats it's a while-you-wait procedure here so leaving Aziz to drink more tea with his cousin next door to the vet, I wandered off for a bit of bit of shopping, and a stroll to the harbour.

Early evening on the balcony with Rufus, recovering cat, kindle and beer joined by Graham and Kat for a while brought a beautifully peaceful day, and the month of May, to a close.
