All that jazz

Decidedly chilly today after the recent taste of summer.

Walked in to Holmfirth with MrM after lunch to post a card (the last local collection is very early in the day), and to buy a few essentials. Then back up the hill to reply to yet more questions about the flat from our buyers' solicitor. If the Land Registry doesn't hold a copy of a conveyance from 1936, I can't imagine why they think we should have one!

MrM and I caught the bus in to Huddersfield this evening and went to the Jazz Club at the Head of Steam to see the Derrick Harris Sextet (though we discovered who they are after the event!), and very good they were too! We'll be back, but not necessarily every week. Caught the last bus back, very conveniently just after 11.00pm.
