Cireres/Cherries

Having been told by friends that we were welcome to go and pick the leftover cherries, we went and did just that this morning and came back with a number of kilos - I've no idea how many, but quite a lot!

I've sorted them out into perfect (for bottling in syrup), imperfect (for eating) and rubbish (for the bin).
The bottles have been sterilised and I'm all set, once I've decided which one of the several ways of processing I've been reading about on the internet is the best for me...
Hmm, I think the cherries can wait until tomorrow.
