Chaser

A four spotted chaser in flight taken at Ham Wall this afternoon.  It was the wrong time of day to go for the birds really, earlier in the day would have been better, when the wind and the sun are in opposite directions you often end up trying to photograph birds flying out of the sun which is less than ideal.  However, knowing that you won't yet be tired of insects that fly - here's a four spotted chaser looking pristine and shiny in the sunshine.  The two rear legs are down as it was thinking about landing on some vegetation and then had second thoughts; its hesitancy giving me a chance to acquire focus on what can be quite a difficult little blighter to get in the air.
