On the pond

When we arrived one of the big lorries was there shifting some of the felled trees (extra).
Back home and managed a hour’s gardening before getting ready for our friend’s Mum’s funeral. A great celebration of her life spent in Cornwall until the last year or two when she came north to be looked after near her daughter. She was a Cornish bard and her coffin was decorated with a picture of Crackington Haven where she lived and our rector who took the service ended it with a blessing in the Cornish language.
