Benchmark

We were given a garden bench by John's brother as a wedding present 30+ years. It was never comfortable but had the date of our wedding carved on the back. The years outside in all weathers have not done the wood any favours. Today it was taken apart to be used mostly as firewood - the date panel will be incorporated into something else.

Textures and colours of the wood were interesting with a definite abstract feel to them.
