Bonnie Dundee's window

Stained glass window in St Drostan's Episcopal Church.Old Deer commemorating Viscount  Dundee - John Graham of Claverhouse - Bonnie Dundee or Bluidy Clavers - depending on one's perspective. Bonnie Dundee was killed leading Jacobite forces at the Battle of Killiecrankie on 27th July 1698. In 1852 some of his bones were gifted to Dean Arthur Ranken the incumbent of St. Drostan's. He had the bones buried under the chancel floor close to where the commemorative window was later positioned.
