On the way to Burnbank Fell

Deb was at work today, but on such a glorious day I felt a shortish walk was in order. From Loweswater, round the back of the lake and up Burnbank Fell, then onto Blake Fell and finally Gavel Fell. From there it was a gentle drop back down to Maggies Bridge car park, and back round the back of the Lake.

On the fell section of the walk, I only saw 4 people - on the Wednesday of half-term week! Imagine how many I'd have seen if I'd gone up Catbells.
