Small Red

A fantastic day on Arran today with some serious sunshine putting some heat in the day. Walking to Glenashdale Falls was a hard slog uphill in the full sun but reaching the coolness of the woodland was a welcome relief.

The falls looked spectacular with all the recent rain and sparkled in the sunshine as it spewed forth. On the way back we saw a flash of red scooting across the path ahead of us and after some investigation came across a baby squirrel or kitten? anyway it was quite relaxed as it sat there obviously enjoying the sunshine just like us.
