Four-spotted Chaser

I visited three reserves today.  Firstly I went to Trowbarrow to see if the Bee Orchids were showing.  There was no sign of them at all.  Next I moved on to Gait Barrow where I had the pleasure of bumping into Mr and Mrs "Knottman" who were counting the Primula Farinosa.  Finally I called in at Foulshaw on the way home.  There were about half a dozen Large Heath butterflies on the wing, also White -faced Darters and Four-spotted Chasers and a plethora of damselflies.
