Abandoned

Every day I pass this house. Its a lovely victorian manor. It's been standing derelict for many years. I've always had a fantasy that one day I would win the lottery and is buy it and do it up. Make it how it deserves to be.

The man did a little research on it awhile ago and it turns out a developer bought it with the intention of knocking it down and building three (!) flat block buildings on it. The plans were denied by the council, thank goodness, but the house has been left neglected since.

Unfortunately last week someone set it alight. The roof has collapsed, any of the original internal architectural features are most likely charred, it's basically one strong wind away from collapse.

I bet there's a developer out there somewhere passing off a bulky envelope to a unsavoury dodgy character... He'll most likely get his block of flats mow. Such a shame.
