Headed South.
First stop - Whitmuir (Lamancha) for breakfast and a rummage around the junk Antique shop where a purchase was made (as if we don't have enough old tat). Then a tour around the garden shop - what varied, unusual and magnificent plants they have. On to Biggar (London is big but Biggar is Biggar) for a wander to try and find a shop where Mrs FP wanted to off load a pile of hard earned, but to no avail, it has vanished. Money saved. On the way back we stopped off at the Big Red barn for a couple of ice cold milkshakes. Lovely.
The only drama of the day was a wee border terrier (Nadia - daft name for a dog) was running about a busy road trying to get itself run over. Fortunately a guy in a camper van blocked the road, managed to catch the wee scamp and return it to nearby boarding kennels from which it had escaped.
