Gates & Newson

We were out about 6.45am to Katharon Monastery (Ithaca, Greece) to do a walk to the village shop in Anogi which is also a taverna. When we set off on this trail over the mountains it was misty and the clouds were low. As you can see from the photo' the views are awesome.

We got to Anogi after a couple of hours trekking and enjoyed coffee there and chatting to the owner and his wife. Our friends tell us that on Sept 8 last  year Bill Gates and friend Newson and one other were at the shop having a meeting outside. It really is a place that has hardly altered over the years.

We got back to our villa late morning and early afternoon enjoyed a brai (bar-b-cue) with the owners.
