Golden……

A dog walker and her black Labrador dog can be seen in the distance walking upstream on the true left bank of the ponded area of the Taylor River. There are still leaves on many of the willows lining the river banks. Last Thursday it was the first day of June. Here in New Zealand we have moved into the winter months. I feel we are in a transitional phase of the seasons. Dog walkers are still out and about not needing to dress very warmly. It has been blowing from the Nor-west today… a relatively warm wind. It is “King’s Birthday” Weekend. Weather forecasters are predicting a cold winter blast advancing up from the south with snow possible in low areas. That may be a shock to our systems. Stay dry and warm my friends.
