Autumn....

....mingling with winter, calm before the storm perhaps.

Silver birch draped in golden leaves, a slight rustle otherwise so still, wonder how many will be left once the wind and rain arrives. Forecasters have told us, tonight's the night for wind and rain, snow in higher up places not too far away from us, a cold day looming tomorrow.

A long weekend here for King's Birthday, nice to kick back and relax. And I'm still here, surprise, surprise, hope it continues.
