Me & My Dogs

Bro1 and I took the dogs a walk as the sun finally broke through this evening.

What was supposed to be a lovely wander through the woods in the magical evening light spending some much needed time with Bro1 quickly became a swampy, slimey, yet hilarious long walk.

The dogs leapt with utter delight into the greenish brown swampy mud in the woods which is usually fairly horrid but it is particularly foul at the moment.

I shrieked, Bro1 climbed out their reach and then we marched them along to the loch, encouraging them to leap in there to get cleaned off. It worked to an extent, this was taken just after their swim.

We walked through the woods a bit more and decided the only option was to go home via the river. It's lovely and clean and they had a quick swim in there before we headed home.

2 hours of walking, talking & laughing, I think we're in a better place now.
