The end of the beginning?

We went on a 5 mile walk around the junction of the Stroudwater and Sharpness Canals in Gloucestershire. The Sharpness is still complete but the Shroudwater finishes around 200 meters from the junction but there are signs it may join with its remainder which eventually joins the Thames and Severn sometime in the future ....hopefully?

It was a lovely walk on a wonderful day with lovely people.
