Sarah

During our visit this morning, Sarah and I remembered her garden on Main Street: the round table near the little pond where she read the Times beneath the arbor and sipped her morning coffee, the pots of petunias she placed on her front steps every year, the Japanese Snowbell beneath which she buried her Mother's ashes.

We watched the Rolland Garros French Open for a bit, and she cited the names of the tennis players who are her current faves. We remembered the tournaments won by Rafa Nadal, for whom she has great affection. Then she smiled broadly and I snapped this photo.
