You just need to know
when and where
they are.

Try dusk.

Just at the moment
when the sun dies
and the dark falls
you'll find them
hovering
in the shadows
darting
in between
the trunks of trees.

What? Was that one there?
Of course it was.
Trust me.

But don't follow.
You're wasting your time.
Moreover, if one
catches you  -
say a night fairy -
it can be bad news.

Keep looking.

This faerie was very well camouflaged, I haven't found one for a while ♥
Met Norm for a coffee and a walk in the woods. It was a new coffee shop for us and very nice. The woods were lovely and peaceful as always. Although I regretted asking Norm about the FA Cup final, the peace was temporarily shattered for 5 minutes ;-)
