Chaffinch

Today we took Mum to a much loved beauty spot near Peebles. We haven't been there I don't think since before COVID and it was a real joy to manage to get mum back there. She remembered our previous visits and kept recounting things we'd seen and done which was great. The azaleas and rhododendrons were almost past their best but still stunning and this little chaffinch posed just beautifully. A fab day :)
