Through the square window

This is the view that I was greeted with from my car seat as I returned from the car park to wheel Auntie back from Chapel.

After an early morning jog around the commons, I showered quickly before accompanying auntie to chapel. A wheelchair was necessary for the first time today, severe osteoarthritis in most of her joints is causing extreme pain and discomfort. A lovely sermon from a once a year preacher was enjoyed by a congregation of 30 or so.
Back home to finish preparing the roast pork dinner before a fresh fruit salad and crème fraiche.
PM a sunny afternoon stroll along the river with J which included listening to a family of woodpeckers being fed.
Bumped into two lads cycling LEJOG one had “lost” a pedal and could we help? Fortunately I directed them to a cycle hire centre where they were able to reclaim some old flat pedals from their skip!
They were heading over Exmoor this evening having set off from near Bodmin early today.
Extra roast pork.
