Arches Everywhere

A very fine blue sky day. The sun really highlights the arches which define the openings in our home.

There are eight in the Bellcote. Eleven arches are windows. There are three which ventilate the roof void and there is the main door entrance. Only used for ceremonial occasions now.

There are two normal doors, one of which we use on a daily basis and one which gives access to the crypt which houses the air source Heatpumps.

There is also a ventilation hatch which was used for delivering coal for the original heating system.

There are also two traditional sash and case windows. One in the vestry and the second in the crypt.

There are also six staircases and quite a number of steps scattered throughout.

Pat and I did watch the highlights of the Spanish Grand Prix. This sport is not what it used to be. Much of that is down to the stewards making inconsistent decisions.

Two gin based libations did put me in a better frame of mind.
