New lens day. After much swithering I plumped for the 90mm macro which I bought second hand 'like new' from a reputable dealer saving almost 30%. Virtually the only way to get a macro with stabilization for Sony.

90mm is 135mm equivalent for APS-C on my Sony a6000, so should be great for macro and closeups but also for sports, landscape and portraits. I suppose also gives me options of going full frame with the next camera.

Arrived early evening and hardly any time to play with it and first impressions are that there is a bit of a learning curve but I'll get there.

I hope if I die my wife doesn't sell my camera gear for what I told her it cost lol
