Old Meets New

The Mono Monday theme was "lighting," so I tried to keep my eye open for something interesting. Can't really say I succeeded, but my attention was drawn to the juxtaposition between this old outdoor light fixture and the newfangled lightbulb. This while standing just out of the rain waiting for someone to bring around the new car we bought today. I say "new," but I really just mean "different." My wife drove it home so honestly I haven't even been inside it yet, though it's sitting out in the driveway right now. Cars aren't really my thing. Sure hope it last longer than our monthly payments.
