Deep Dale

Mum and daughter day today, which had been planned a few weeks ago. (she is married with three children of her own) and we couldn't have asked for a better day...fantastic sunshine all the way. The walk took us from Dale of Walls to Sandness (Shetland) which took us about three hours to do, including lunch. As this was a mum and daughter "day", after the walk we went to St Ninians Isle and walked along the beach, Sumburgh to see if we could see any puffins (we saw one!! lol ), back to Lerwick to have fish n chips then back through Voe, Aith and got daughter back to her home in Walls then drove home. So we visited the furthest west, south and east of Shetland but although we did go north we werent furthest north. Now I am just a tad tired!!
