Hours of flowers

A late start for D and a sunny morning gave us the perfect opportunity to go and pick this year's elderflowers. It was still windy (it seems to have been windy for weeks) so I'm not sure if all the sweet pollen will have been blown away, but after 3 hours of work removing heads from stems the bowl of flowers smelt delightful. We got six and a half bottles of cordial, hopefully to be tried tomorrow!
