Finally out

Finally enough people to get some cattle out safely. 11 heifers, quite well behaving as they had all been out last year, got out on grass that has grown a bit too tall already despite the cool weather lately.

It wasn't too warm today either, just +13°C and some wind. We got a surprise shower just before putting the cattle out, yielding almost one millimetre.

In the extra a collage of today's nature photos: the swans and five newly hatched cygnets, two marsh harriers, two crows harassing a marsh harrier, and a lapwing.
