Blipped on today's expedition which took me to Astley Ainslie Hospital where I sat in various different places and read my book, also listened to the birds with the help of the Merlin app which tells me what I'm hearing - most of the time, anyway - I can sometimes hear birds that it can't, and Merlin isn't too good on gulls. A lovely sunny day again, although not that hot - I needed to choose my places to sit so they weren't too breezy.
