A view from St Swithin

Pompidou Centre Malaga

We woke to find the skies a bit overcast and a drizzly rain. “ Warm rain” as my mum would call it with the temp about 22c.
We decided to look at a couple of museums. Picasso was born in Malaga but doesn’t appear to have spent much time here. Nevertheless the Picasso Museum is a must see and after a bit of a queue we managed to gain entry. TBH I’m not really a fan of all the cubist paintings but it’s easy to see what a genius he was. There was also a large gallery of his sculpture which was more interesting and more to my liking.

After a tapas lunch we went to the Pompidou centre which is an offshoot of the Paris gallery. There was a variety of interesting exhibits and installations all loosely based on the Covid years and the isolation and introspection that many of us experienced.
