Beachcombers

A rather splendid Ramblers walk today. Parked at the South Queensferry Sports Hub and from there walked down to the River Forth just under the Forth Bridge (aka the Forth Railway Bridge). There we joined the John Muir Way and walked east along the coastal path and then onto the beach at Eagle Rock, just short of Cramond.

It had been a bit cool and a little misty up to that point, but just after our lunch stop on the beach the sun burned off the cloud and the rest of our walk was done in very pleasant warm sunshine (see extra). Our return route took us up into and then through the Dalmeny Estate, with a wee bit of roadside walking to finish. Getting quite used to this sunshine lark!
