A first sighting

A dull start to the morning but as has become the pattern recently by lunchtime it was hot and very sunny.

A walk in Rouken Glen this morning. The swans and their eight cygnets were sleeping in the middle of the path and there was no budging them until they were ready.

The water lilies are just beginning to open up and RG has quite a variety but many are out of camera lens reach.
