A new friend

He/she (didn't get a good look underneath) was very friendly.

Until it figured out I had no food.

It's a local breed of workhorse, which we met up with on a tour of the Oberpfälzer Freilandmuseum near Nabburg. That's way over in the east of Bavaria, almost on the Czech border.
